Celebration is always a part of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater’s annual visits to NJPAC a celebration of Ailey and his works, of the black experience, of indomitable spirit. This year’s appearance by the internationally renowned company incorporates another celebration, the 20th anniversary of Judith Jamison’s tenure as artistic director.
