A DAY IN "THE LIFE OF RILEY"

My dear friend Marcia Pendelton (www.blacktheateronline.com) arranged for Ant and me to see the invited rehearsal for "American Buffalo" on Broadway (www.americanbuffalobroadway.com) with Cedric The Entertainer and John Leguizamo. Afterwards, Ant got to reunite with many of his co-workers from "The Wendy Williams Show" at "Club Eden" in the Theatre District. It was a ‘How You Doin'?' party - designed for one of Wendy's favorite demographics, ‘the gays'. In addition to getting our photo op with Wendy and her husband/manager Kevin, we got face time with Wendy's sidekick Charlemagne and the show's Executive Producer Rob Dauber. Also, in attendance, Wendy's stylist Debra. Too, I got to see my Morehouse brother Jason and hang out with him for a bit. Always good to see him. Nuvo was the drink of the night (www.sparklingnuvo.com/) and though vodka doesn't normally agree with me, something in the sparkle made it a great drink for the night (with no hanging-over implications the next morning). ‘Wendy' is scheduled to return next summer.
